Event Overview

Join us for an invigorating 6.5-mile hike through the breath-taking North York Moors as we explore the iconic Roseberry Topping and the historic Captain Cook’s Monument. This challenging trail rewards you with panoramic views, rugged terrain, and a deep connection to the region’s rich history. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or looking to push your boundaries, this is a perfect opportunity to embrace the great outdoors, meet like-minded adventurers, and support a good cause.

Why This Matters

We are encouraging everyone to lose the scroll and find the soul by creating opportunities to connect with nature and disconnect from their screens. By attending all our events, you’ll gain an average of 4 days immersed in the great outdoors and 4 days free from the distractions and doom-scrolling of your phone. Green time over screen time is vital for mental well-being, as time in nature reduces stress, boosts mood, and improves focus. It fosters deeper connections with yourself, others, and the world around you, helping you feel grounded and re-energised in ways no screen ever could.

20% of all ticket sales will be donated to the Newcastle Cat and Dog shelter as decided and voted by our community. The Newcastle Cat and Dog shelter is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals that are lost, unwanted, neglected, abused, or abandoned across the North East of England. Their mission centres on promoting kindness and preventing cruelty to animals. By participating, you’re not just embarking on a memorable hike but also contributing to making a positive impact within our community. Every step you take helps support this vital cause, ensuring hope and assistance for those who need it most.
